Dear parents,
We are in need of volunteers for the meet on Saturday. We cannot run the meet without a full complement of volunteers for timing, scribes and the other various jobs needed to conduct home meets. Home meets are where we have an opportunity to host a meet and show our hospitality and Cypresswood Shark pride. We have 40 years of tradition to uphold and are set for a wonderful season. Please sign up on the website so we can ensure a successful and efficient meet on Saturday.
Please keep in mind that sign in starts at 7am and we must have the swimmers signed in by 7:30am so we can do heat adjustments with the other team. Find your age group coordinator at the tables when you enter the pavilion and ask any questions needed for your daily preparation. All families have the option of setting up inside the pavilion or outside around the North end and West sides of the pool. You can also set up over the hill behind the ready benches and against the tennis court fence. We will have areas marked that cannot be used for chairs and tents. We have twice the swimmers on Saturday and need to ensure they have a safe access to and from their set up area in the parking lot and playground.
We have been cautious with doing a mandatory volunteer program over the years but possibly will be forced to implement one moving forward if we cannot get other folks involved. The majority of teams have a mandatory volunteer program and we have held out due to our large participation. Please sign up and help out.
