Welcome to the Cypresswood Sharks Swim Team

The Sharks Swim Team was established in 1974. The Cypresswood Sharks' pool is located at 3705 Cypresswood Dr,, Spring, Texas 77388. Please note that we have two pools on Cypresswood Drive. You can call the Cypresswood Community Association for more information at 281-353-9628.

The Cypresswood Sharks Swim Team is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed to promote competitive swimming for all Cypresswood residents and eligible nonresident participants ages 3 (as of 5/1/2026) to 18 years. It is the goal of the Cypresswood Sharks to:

Promote competitive summer swimming for all recreational swimmers and provide individuals the opportunity to develop at their own pace and become proficient in all four competitive strokes, starts and turns, in a safe environment for all that participate. Above all promote GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAM AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT!

The Northwest Aquatic League (NWAL)

Cypresswood is a subdivision member of the Northwest Aquatic League (NWAL). The NWAL sanctions competitive youth swimming throughout the Houston area and is one of the largest swimming organizations in the United States. The league is divided by competitive potential into five or six-team divisions. Each team swims against the other teams in the division in a series of dual meets. At the end of the season, the teams compete in a divisional meet to decide the division champion.
