REMINDER - Cypresswood Sharks T-Shirt Design Contest
We've had several kids drop off their entries for the T-Shirt contest. I just wanted to remind you all one more time. Deadline is Saturday, June 28, 2014 and the winner will be announced at Awards Night.
2014 CYPRESSWOOD SHARKS T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST ANNOUNCED ON MONDAY, JUNE 30TH (DATE CHANGED AFTER POLL WAS SENT OUT)
Are you an artist? Or, do you just like to draw from time to time? Each year the Cypresswood Sharks T-Shirt design is drawn by one of our swimmers. For many years we’ve been doing this contest and we’d like to keep the tradition going. The contest is only for our Swimmers, not parents or friends. This is your chance to put your creativity to use and make a T-Shirt design that your fellow Sharks and families will vote on for next summer’s T-shirt (for 2015), which the whole team will be wearing.
RULES:
1) MUST BE DONE ON 8 1/2" X 11" WHITE SHEET OF PAPER;
2) YOU CAN USE UP TO THREE (3) COLORS IN YOUR DESIGN (THIS INCLUDES THE COLOR BLACK);
3) SWIMMERS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN ENTER THE CONTEST;
4) NAME CANNOT BE WRITTEN ANYWHERE ON THE DESIGN OR ON THE FRONT OF BACK OF THE OF PAPER. TO KEEP THIS AN ANONOYMUS CONTEST, DESIGNS WILL BE VOTED ON BY THEIR QUALITY, NOT THE ARTIST. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON ANY PART OF YOUR DESIGN. IT WILL BE ERASED FOR FAIRNESS. IF IT CANNOT BE ERASED, IT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE CONTEST;
5 YOU MUST TURN YOUR DESIGN IN THE DESIGNATED DROP BOX ON THE EBELT’S FRONT PORCH BY MONDAY, JUNE 28th. NO EXCEPTIONS;
6) DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ENTRY WITH COACHES AND/OR ANY BOARD MEMBER. ANY ENTRY GIVEN TO A COACH OR BOARD MEMBER WILL NOT BE ENTERED IN THE CONTEST;
7) WHEN DROPPING OFF, PLEASE DO NOT RING/KNOCK ON THE DOOR TO LET ANYONE KNOW YOU HAVE DROPPED OFF YOUR DESIGN. TO KEEP THE ART CONTEST FAIR, IT IS BETTER THAT NO ONE KNOW WHO THE ARTIST IS; AND
7) OUR ART WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE TEAM PARTY/AWARDS CEREMONY ON MONDAY, JUNE 30TH.
