Good afternoon Sharks Family! I wanted to send out an email to let y'all know about a spirit night that is happening at Tapped Drafthouse and Kitchen for Will Byers. Will is an 8 year old Cypresswood resident and his little sister, Samantha, is a Sharks team member. Will was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called sanfilippo syndrome when he was 3. It’s a progressively debilitating disease that causes a sometimes rapid decline in physical and intellectual functioning. He has a Facebook page called Will Power: Our Journey With Sanfilippo Syndrome if you would like to read more about his family and this disease. On Wendesday November 14th, Tapped will donate 15% of the sales on food and alcohol to the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation when diners mention Will Power when ordering. I have attached the flyer with the address and details. This is a kid friendly event and we hope to see lots of sharks coming out to support this important cause!
