Attention Shark Families,

I know this will be a lot of information but if you are interested in participating in the end of season invitationals this is an important email.  Cypresswood Sharks participate in two different invitationals on the weekend of June 23/24th that swimmers must have swam a qualifying time during the season to be eligible.  They are All Stars at Klein HS and Ponderosa at Klein Oak HS.  To see if your swimmer has qualified at this point, you can go in and RSVP for the meets and you will see what, if any, they are eligible for.  The last opportunity to qualify will be this Saturday at the divisional meet.  It is very common for those that are close to earn qualifying times as it is an indoor, yard pool.  Attached, you will find the invitations for each meet.  

Some things you can find in the invitation are...

  *  qualifying times (be sure to pay attention to if you are looking at yards vs. meters)

  *  schedule of events with prelims and finals spread out over Sat/Sun 

     (once entries are in they will release an approximate timeline)

  *  3 event bonus rule if your swimmer qualifies for 3 or more events

  *  Pre ordering of invitational merchandise if interested (t-shirts, sweatshirts, towels,           etc.) as it is not uncommon for them to quickly sell out of items and sizes if you                 are interested 

What to do next?

1)  RSVP for the invitational your swimmer(s) qualify for and wish to participate in

2)  Submit payment for events online. Cost is $5 per event.  Once swimmers have                 RSVP'd coaches will determine if there are enough to put together a relay and                 the Sharks will pay for all relay entries.

3)  All qualified entries must by declared and paid for online by 6 p.m. Saturday, 6-       16.  If your swimmer earns a qualifying time at the divisional meet on Saturday, you         can go online between the end of the meet and 6 p.m. to add that event as it will not       be available until then.
